The Materuni Waterfalls & Coffee Tour offers a unique blend of natural beauty and local culture, located near the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. The tour begins with a visit to the stunning Materuni Waterfalls, where you can enjoy a short hike through lush forests to reach the cascading falls, surrounded by vibrant greenery and breathtaking views.

After the waterfall visit, the tour transitions to a coffee plantation, where you’ll experience the full coffee-making process, from bean picking to roasting. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with local Chagga farmers, learning about their traditional methods of cultivation and preparation. The tour is a perfect combination of scenic beauty, adventure, and cultural immersion, providing a deeper connection to Tanzania’s natural and agricultural heritage.

Departure: 8:00 AM from Arusha

Highlights: Coffee-making process, waterfall hike, local culture.

Itinerary:

Drive to Materuni Village near Moshi (1.5 hours).

Coffee tour and tasting.

Hike to Materuni Waterfalls and picnic lunch.

Return to Arusha by 5:30 PM.

This safari package includes;

  • Tipping as it’s a custom to tip our guides, this is personal thus excluded from the safari charges, it has to do with one’s self
